great ...almost all year around pant..

Got these to go with my Discovery jacket and I finally got to put them to test on a 1500 mile ride from AZ to Montana where we saw every kind of weather possible. They are great in the rain and cold. Not a drop got thru and as awkward as the super high waist is when you put them on.. it really helps keep the moisture out. They are plenty warm on a 50-60 degree day with the liner out and the only time I wanted them off was when the temps got above 75 degrees. There is not enough ventilation to call them a 4 season pant but for the price I think they are great for the rest of the year..

these are the pants your looking for if you are facing cool or wet weather. Comfortable, solid construction, and the detachable liner is a great idea. They will last you a long time.

Warm at 9 degrees!

Perfect coastal pants

I was very skeptical about all the claims in the reviews that these paints were dry, warm, and not uncomfortable at this price. I was ready to spend a lot of money after some poor experiences with dual sport pant cold knees and slow-drying high end Italian "system" pants. Dear lord, these pants are outrageously comfortable, dry, breathable, and fantastic quality. The rep at the motorcycle show mentioned that BMG buyers are for life and he wasn't kidding. I'm lurking on the jacket page, now.

mile motorcycle trip in 38-45 degree climate, while in constant rain, sleet,
and hail in your BMG motorcycle pants (A2716) they performed in an

I want to say how happy I am with the quality of the BMG
Pioneer pants I got from you as well. They mate perfectly with the
Discovery Jacket and have held up terrifically thru several winters of cold
wet North Carolina riding. I prefer the Discovery/Pioneer combination
over my Aerostich Roadcrafter suits when the weather is truly foul.

Finally Pants that keep me warm and dry.

I am always cold and I ride in the Rain a lot since I live in the North West. The Pioneer Pants Have always kept me dry, 4 seasons on them so far and I can finally say I am warm..

The Pioneer are a step above everything I have seen on the market to date. They fit like a pair of comfortable jeans but I feel incredibly protected. I have been in days of rain, freezing temperatures and Mojave heat. These are my pants for life.

I have been riding for about 20 years now and I just assumed everyone gets cold and wet... Now I know how those British guys can ride all year round on an Island in the North Sea.. I have worn the Pioneers for 2 years now in every type of weather.. 2-4 hour rides in pouring rain DRY.. When the wind chill forms ice on my beard WARM. In the summer COMFORTABLE. To top it off these have to be one of the most safety consious pants I have seen. Nomex what a great idea.. Thanks BMG..
